How do we store a young person’s medications during the camp?

To ensure that camp life runs safely and smoothly, it is important to take care of campers’ medication arrangements in advance. Well-packed medications and clear information make things easier for both the camper and the staff. You can find detailed instructions and a fillable form via the button below.

We recommend that regularly used medications for campers under 18 are stored at the camp’s first aid station throughout the camp. This ensures proper storage and availability when needed. Common over-the-counter medications, such as basic pain relievers and allergy medicines, may be kept by the camper. Please bring only the amount of medication needed for the duration of the camp. Remember to clearly label all medications with the camper’s name and dosage instructions. If there are multiple medications, using a pill organizer is a practical and clear solution.

Please also include a medication list indicating what medications are used, when they are taken, and what they are for. Add contact details in case further information is needed. When medications and information are carefully packed, for example in a resealable bag, handling them at camp is safe and straightforward.

Careful preparation helps make the camp safer and more enjoyable for everyone!
