Ten camp participants were involved in a traffic accident

Ten camp participants were involved in a traffic accident in which a passenger car, after making a U-turn, struck the front right corner of a bus. There were two adults and seven youths on board the bus. 

The accident occurred in Raisio along the Old Highway 8 in the direction from Raisio towards Masku. 

The first information about the accident was received by the camp’s transportation coordinator from the bus driver. The transportation coordinator immediately informed the Camp Director, Mikko Rauhanen. 

No one on the bus was injured. 

The campers have returned to the camp area and are receiving assistance from the camp’s own medical staff if needed.
