Review the selection criteria for the Basic Course in Rescue Operations now!

The participant selections for the Basic Course in Rescue Operations organized at the HÄLY 2026 camp have now been completed. A total of 120 youth firefighters applied for the course, of which 40 participants were selected. The selected individuals will be informed of their course place by email to the email address provided during the camp registration.

In the selection process, efforts were made to ensure fairness and to provide the training opportunity to youth from as many regional rescue associations and fire brigades as possible. Priority was given to young people born in 2008–2009 who will not have turned 18 before the camp. In addition, some course places have been reserved for Swedish-speaking participants so that a Swedish-language training group can also be organized during the course.
